Student start-ups and small businesses from GWU and the Greater D.C. area are invited to join the ICSB Idea Marketplace.

Entrepreneurs are welcome to present their businesses and attend essential business training sessions that will help take your business to the next level. All training sessions will be held in the morning, followed by the pitch competition in the afternoon.

All GW teams who participate will be considered for the New Business Plan competition.

3:00 - 4:00 PM | Investor Mentorship

Meet in small groups with world-renowned investors as they discuss ways in which your company can best position itself for funding.

Did your business win? 1st place winners will receive 300 USD with another 3 teams receiving 200 USD each.

POLICY | In-Person (tbc)

Gain hands-on experience in the business of policy making during the DC Policy Center site visit. Meet genuine lawmakers and brainstorm new, more effective policies together.

FRIDAY

RESEARCH | Hybrid

Discuss data about entrepreneurship presented by researchers from all over the globe, and then join the evening Gala dedicated to honoring exemplary members of the GW community.
